get Lidra.

Will it work on my MacBook?

Lidra requires macOS 14 or later, an Apple silicon MacBook with a lid angle sensor, and the built-in display. It has been tested on an M2 Pro MacBook Pro. Other models have not yet been verified. Intel Macs and external displays are not supported.

Why does it need Screen Recording?

Lidra needs an image of your desktop to draw the effect. macOS provides it through Screen Recording permission. The app processes these frames locally without saving or uploading them, and does not capture audio.

How does the launch price work?

The first 20 purchases will cost $1.49 USD each. After that, the price will be $2.99 USD. Both are one-time purchases with all three effects included, with no subscription. Sales have not opened yet.

What should I know about early access?

Lidra is currently in early beta. It is not yet notarized by Apple. Screen Recording permission may need to be renewed after updates. Compatibility testing is still in progress, so please check the supported hardware before buying.
